COLFASA, within the framework of the expansion policy of the European Union towards the east and the market globalisation, provides an internationalisation service to the manufacturing and service companies interested in opening new commercial outlets abroad.

The consortium, through Asociaţia COLFASA, which it controls, with its headquarters in Romania, in Bucharest, can support the companies that are interested in penetrating the entire Balkan area and the Central and Eastern Europe, by:

  • organisation of trade missions
  • providing support for promoting and selling products/services
  • technical assistance, for the opening of new operative, commercial or representative offices

COLFASA provides the following services:

  • consultancy for the identification of Community grants in other European Community states
  • information and guidance with respect to the main fairs, national and international meetings and the best opportunities for promoting and selling products abroad
  • setting up sector-specific training meetings for the companies that wish to initiate exports, which desire to develop their own markets or exploit their own products and their company’s image better abroad
  • assistance for the search of commercial and/or productive partners
  • organisation of missions abroad
  • support for internationalisation and elaboration of business plans and international marketing plans
  • information regarding the grants for the participation to international events, issued by the main national institutions (ministries, ICE, SIMEST, regions, chamber of commerce, etc.)
  • elaboration of social and economical studies (sector studies, plans for penetrating the foreign markets, etc.)
  • researches about the legislation, policies and programs of the European Community
  • search and selection of commercial and industrial partners
  • organisation of business tours abroad, with the participation of international buyers
  • scouting activities
  • promotion and dissemination of typical local productions abroad
