The project Network Italy – Switzerland (NIS) was generated by a cross-border cooperation initiative, coordinated by COLFASA and ECAP, oriented towards the creation of a network among the micro, small and medium enterprises from the Insubric area. The inspiring principle behind this project was the will to support economic integration and increase the competitiveness of the companies participating in the project, creating a cross-national and cross-regional business networking. NIS has been carried out within the framework of INTERREG IIIA Italia – Switzerland 2000 – 2006 Community initiative, financed from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), a program aiming at promoting the cooperation between the European regions, in order to increase social and economical development.
NIA is a cross-border cooperation project, aiming at supporting development in the low Adriatic basin, with specific reference to Puglia and Albania. Both countries, in the respective cross-border areas, ever since the start of the new millennium, have witnessed a powerful growth of the small and medium enterprises. For this reason, NIA project is intended as a virtual network, in order to promote the development of the business environment from Puglia, through a network of commercial relations with Albania. The project has been carried out with finances from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), within the framework of INTERREG IIIA Italy – Albania 2000 – 2006 Community initiative.
SSA is a cross-border cooperation project between Italia and Albania, which aims at raising awareness among public institutions and private companies about the theme of environmental sustainability. The project activities aim at defining the operative manners and quality standards for the implementation of environment management systems. One of the most significant objectives of SSA is the will to stimulate the dissemination and exchange of good practices, in the common effort of saving the environment, by all the project partners. SSA has been co-financed with funds from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) within the framework of INTERREG IIIA Italia – Albania 2000 – 2006 Community initiative.
